Founded in 2025 You don’t start something like Hit Ballz because it’s easy. You start it because something’s missing. Because you looked around your town, your life, and said, “Screw it—let’s build the thing we actually want to go to.”

Winter in Summit County is beautiful. But if you’re a golfer, it’s a long season of nothing. No swings. No turf. Just snow and the occasional hallucination of a par-3 under bluebird skies. Jonnie Law knew that too well. He’d spent years training people how to move—skiing, golf, precision. A PSIA-certified instructor. A former golf pro at Keystone. He knew form, rhythm, and the value of reps. And now? Now he needed a place to swing a club without hitting drywall.

His partner, Sharon—a strategist, an entrepreneur, and a woman with a five-year plan to beat you at golf—looked around their two-bedroom condo one snow-locked morning and said, “You need to find somewhere to hit ballz.” And just like that, the match was lit.

What followed was months of digging. Searching. Failing. Spaces in Copper Mountain that didn’t work. Real estate deals in Florida that went sideways. A parade of landlords who just didn’t get it. But they didn’t stop.

Eventually, they found it. The space. The concept. The moment.

And they built Hit Ballz for all of us, locals and visitors alike. Not with committees or consultants. With stubborn belief. With calloused hands and half-sleeve plans. A golf studio and lounge that feels like something you’d stumble into in Bangkok or Berlin —if those cities had altitude, fresh powder, and locals who knew a 7-iron from a sand wedge.
