My wife did all the research and purchased the tickets as a surprise. She knows I love history, especially Colorado Mountain history in the ski towns. And I was so surprised about how much of the history of Breckenridge I didn’t know! The information was carefully researched and presented in a fun, unique way. I was afraid I was going to miss something with the choose your own adventure type tour, but honestly, I don’t think we did, and if we did, that is fine because I learned so much. My brother has a time share on Peak 8, and I have already told him he needs to do it when he is out there next because he also loves the gold rush history of the mountains. I don’t generally follow the ghost story side of history but after this tour, I want to learn more about other mountain towns that might also be haunted. Our guide, Seth was one of the best guides I have ever had on a tour. I really enjoyed talking to him about all the things you don’t know about in Breckenridge unless you live there. If I have the opportunity to take the tour again, I will!

Response from Breckenridge Ghost Guides Thank you for the amazing review—and please thank your wife for making excellent vacation decisions! We love hearing that someone who already enjoys Colorado mountain history walked away discovering things about Breckenridge they didn’t know. We spend an arguably unhealthy amount of time digging through old Breckenridge history, mining stories, local legends, and ghostly tales so our guides can share the stuff you probably won’t find on the plaque outside the building. We’ll make sure Seth hears the compliments. We may leave out the “one of the best guides I’ve ever had” part, though. We still have to work with him. Thanks for recommending Breckenridge Ghost Guides to your brother, and welcome to the dangerous progression from “I’m really here for the history” to “So… what other Colorado mountain towns are haunted?”
