Breck Film is the chief operator of Breck's only public movie theater: The Eclipse. Beyond daily programming, Breck Film is home to the Breck Film Fest which celebrated its 40th Anniversary in 2021. (Join us September 15-18, 2022)! The organization is renowned for its educational programming including its annual high school filmmaker competition, internship program in partnership with CU Denver and free festival kids program.
Our primary service area is the Town of Breckenridge, but most our customers come from across Summit County.
The Breckenridge Festival of Film began in 1981 as one of the first film festivals in the state. The festival has hosted world premieres, celebrity guests, and Oscar-winning films. Since our founding, we've grown into Breck Film - a two-pronged non-profit that not only runs the annual film festival, but also Breckenridge's only movie theater, The Eclipse (since 2021!).
